Why you need a document converter

PDF is the final format — you send a PDF when you want a document to look exactly the same on every device and you don't want people editing it. Converting to PDF means your Word doc (DOCX), slideshow (PPTX), ebook (EPUB), or images (PNG, HEIC) get locked into a portable, universally readable file. Going the other direction — PDF back to PNG — lets you extract individual pages as images for use in presentations, social posts, or thumbnails.

EPUB is the open ebook standard, but most PDF readers can't open it — converting to PDF makes ebooks printable and readable anywhere. Apple Pages files are editable only on Mac and iOS; converting to PDF makes them readable on any device. This converter handles 12 document format pairs, including the two highest-volume document conversions on the web: PNG to PDF and PDF to PNG.

Common questions

Can I convert a confidential document without uploading it?
Yes — that's the whole point. Every conversion runs right in your browser. Contracts, invoices, medical records — none of it travels to a server. Open DevTools → Network while converting and you'll see zero upload requests.
Will my document's formatting be preserved?
Standard formatting — text, headings, tables, bold/italic, inline images — transfers reliably. Complex layouts with floating objects, custom fonts, or SmartArt may simplify. Always review the output before sharing.
What's the difference between PDF to PNG and PDF to DOCX?
PDF to PNG gives you an image of each page — good for sharing on social media, inserting into presentations, or extracting charts. PDF to DOCX gives you editable text you can modify in Word — better if you need to update the content.
