Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Open the PDF in Google Drive or your PDF reader
Most Android phones have Google Drive pre-installed and use it as the default PDF viewer. Open the PDF — the first page displays in the viewer.
Go to converter - 2
Take a screenshot of each page (built-in method)
Press Power + Volume Down to screenshot the current page. Repeat for each page. Screenshots save as PNG (which can be converted to JPG in any photo app). For long-page PDFs, use 'Scrolling Screenshot' on Pixel/Samsung devices.
- 3
Or use a dedicated converter app
Install PDF Converter Pro, iLovePDF, or PDF to Image Converter from the Play Store. Open the PDF in the app, choose 'Convert to JPG', and save all pages as separate images at full resolution.
Why convert PDF to JPG?
Android is the most popular phone platform globally; getting PDF content into JPG is a daily task for students, professionals, and content creators. Multiple paths exist depending on your privacy and quality needs.
Your files never leave your device
FormatDrop runs the conversion engine entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly. No file upload. No server. Nothing stored. You can verify this by opening DevTools → Network tab and watching: zero upload requests.
